Added ZXP installer format

ZXP installer now included for compatibility with Dreamweaver CC. Simply re-download your product and you will find a ZXP file that will enable you to install your product into Dreamweaver CC.

 

Tab Bar Magic v1.0.9 cumulative update

Adds IE7 CSS compatibility and Apple OS X UI bug fix. Also includes fixes contained in the prior released 1.0.6 update (23-January-2006).

• IE7 CSS Compatibility
• Minor Current Marker issue in Template-based pages.
• Submenu hiding when one or more root menu items do not have a submenu.
• Works around an Apple bug that caused the UI to freeze when changing style themes.

Important...

This Update requires that a full Tab Bar Magic version is already installed on your computer. It will not work otherwise.

Do you need the update?

Windows users

You only need to update If you purchased Tab Bar Magic prior to 24-October-2006.

Mac users

You only need to update If you purchased Tab Bar Magic prior to 28-April-2007.

To be certain, open Extension Manager and check your TBM version number. If your current version is not listed as 1.0.9, you need to download the 1.0.9 Update:

Follow the instructions to find your order or to have your order history sent to you. Once you locate your order, you will have access to the download.

Tip: Save the downloaded update file to the same location that contains your original Tab Bar Magic extension file. Should you ever need to re-install Tab Bar Magic, install the original version first, then the update.

Installation

1. Install the extension using the Extension Manager
2. When prompted to overwrite existing files, choose Yes To All
3. Restart Dreamweaver to complete the update process

DO NOT Uninstall your current version. This is an update and requires that a full version is already installed on your system for a proper update. After installing the update, Extension Manager will list both the orginal (full) version and the update version.

Deployment

After installing the update, all new menus that you create will work flawlessly in IE7.

To update existing menus

To fix menus created prior to installing the update, follow one of the procedures below to update menus in either Standard pages, DW Templates, or Server-Side Includes:

For Standard Pages

• Open the page that contains your menu
• Click the Tab Bar Magic icon or choose Modify :: Studio VII :: Modify Tab Bar Magic by PVII
• The TBM user interface will open in Modify Mode
• Click OK
• The updated TBM system will automatically insert the necessary IE7 CSS fixes in your page
• Save your page
• Upload your updated page(s) to your web site

For Dreamweaver Templates

• In your Templates folder, select and open theTemplate ( .DWT) file that contains your menu
• Click the Tab Bar Magic icon or choose Modify :: Studio VII :: Modify Tab Bar Magic by PVII
• The TBM user interface will open in Modify Mode
• Click OK
• The updated TBM system will automatically insert the necessary IE7 CSS fixes in your page
• Save your Template
• Dreamweaver will prompt you to update all pages attached to the Template.
• Be sure to upload all updated pages to your web site

For Server-Side Includes

• Open the incude file that contains your menu.
• Click the Tab Bar Magic icon or choose Modify :: Studio VII :: Modify Tab Bar Magic by PVII
• The TBM user interface will open in Modify Mode
• Since the Modify UIreverts to default settings when accessed from within an include file, make sure you reset all your menu options to those currently being used on your page.
• Click OK
• The updated TBM system will automatically insert the necessary IE7 CSS fixes in your page
• Don't forget to remove script, style and body tags.
• Save your include file
• Upload your updated include file to your web site
